Office for Android has the same office applications - Excel, PowerPoint and Word - that the Office for iPad version shipped in March 2014 and Android versions provide functions similar or even identical to those found on the Apple tablet. As was the case for Office for iPad, the official version of Office for Android will allow users to view, create and edit documents for free as part of a non-professional use. But to use the advanced features, they will subscribe to Office 365. Office version for Android smartphone, called Office Mobile, is still available for download for free. As for version Office for iPhone, Microsoft said that would deliver three autonomous applications Excel, PowerPoint and Word, and that it would remove the integrated version. The launch date of Office for Android for tablets has not been officially announced, but last year, Microsoft stated that these applications would be ready early in 2015.</div>
